Real Friends announce tour and sell out in 24 hours

Our favorites Real Friends had a big announcement. From teasing these past few months over various Facebook posts and social media shenanigans, it was here.

Real Friends announced an entire tour yesterday, playing in small venues where each show would sell 150 tickets for just $5.

And this sold out entirely in less than 24 hours of being on sale.

It’s fantastic to see Real Friends doing a tour like this, as it is very reminiscent of The Maine’s tour for ‘American Candy’ which was completely Free over the summer of 2015. Either way, Real Friends have got it made, and this tour will still be amazing for those luckily enough to snag a ticket!

What do you think about this apporach to tours? Should more bands do cheap tours? Sound off in comments below!

Mayday Parade, Real Friends, As It Is and This Wild Life announce AP Tour for FALL 2015

Pop punkers rejoice, as Mayday Parade headline the AP Tour in the Fall of 2015 with some very special guests.

Dates for the AP tour were announced shortly after the bands were chosen for the tour hosted by Hot Topic. VIP tickets officially went on sale on July 24th, at midnight…while tickets to the public were available a few days later on July 31st.

31 dates span across North America in various cities throughout the months of October and November of 2015. Real Friends unfortunately will not be performing at all shows throughout the tour (dates marked with an asterisk (*) RF not performing), but otherwise, the lineup looks incredible. Mayday Parade are also planning a new album release, entitled Black Lines,  on October 9th, 2015…so this tour is in perfect timing for some new songs to be played to the masses.
