Oli Skyes trashes NME Awards

Bring Me The Horizon took the NME stage(2/16) in Austin Texas. During their performance of their Happy Song, (featured from their latest album That’s The Spirit), frontman Oliver Skyes jumped onto Coldplay’s table and proceeded to destroy it.

There has been controversy between the two bands regarding their album covers. Coldplays latest album A Head Full Of Dreams which was released December 4, 2015 has similarities with Bring Me The Horizon’s album Sempiternal, which was released on April 2, 2013. Both albums have the Flower of Life on the cover.

Bring Me The Horizon won NME Innovation Award, as drummer Matthew Nicholls accepted the award he said: “We’re not one for making words. Thanks NME,” while Sykes giving the thumbs up. Actions will always speak louder than words…right Oli? 🙂

There is a picture of both album covers below. The left one is Bring Me The Horizon’s: Sempiternal(2013), the right one is Coldplays: A Head Full of Dreams(2015) There is also a fan video of Oli trashing Coldplays table as well.

Being a fan of The Nearly Deads since the beginning, I’m beyond excited to find out what they have been working on! 🙂 Their last album was Invisible Tonight which was released back in 2014.
